The ACPS3310 is a 3U CompactPCI Serial carrier card designed for Acromag’s AcroPack mezzanine modules. It provides two isolated I/O expansion slots that connect AcroPack or mini-PCIe modules directly to the PCIe bus.
All field signal connections are made through the carrier’s front-panel connectors, which route signals to the individual AcroPack modules.
With more than 25 AcroPack modules available, users can combine analog I/O, digital I/O, serial interfaces, communication modules, and FPGA-based processing functions. This modular approach enables the creation of a board tailored to the application, saving system slots and reducing overall cost.
The AcroPack family modernizes the popular Industry Pack I/O modules by adopting a PCIe interface. This technology refresh provides a compact and economical I/O solution that preserves the functionality and memory map of the original Industry Pack mezzanine modules, while adding new capabilities such as FPGA processing, Ethernet, CAN bus, and avionics interfaces.
