High-density PCIe 5.0 expansion

The Dolphin eBox 4 Pro extends the Dolphin PCI Express interconnect portfolio for systems requiring several PCIe 5.0 x16 peripherals.

Built around the MXB585 platform and the Microchip Switchtec PFX 100xG5 PCIe 5.0 switch, the chassis supports configurations ranging from four dual-width cards to nine downstream PCIe 5.0 x16 peripherals.

Up to 4800 W for high-power PCIe devices

Two 2400 W CRPS power supplies provide up to 4800 W, with redundancy up to 2400 W. Dolphin PCIe 5.0 cabling supports up to 3 metres over copper and 100 metres over fibre.

The platform is suited to GPU-accelerated computing, FPGA data acquisition and high-throughput applications used in industrial systems and Information & Communication Systems.

Transparent PCIe, NTB and resource sharing

The Switchtec PFX provides transparent and NTB capabilities. With Dolphin eXpressWare, device lending and shared memory can be used in composable or multi-computer configurations.
