ONYX-AGX is a ruggedised edge AI computer designed to meet the demands of critical embedded applications requiring intensive real-time data processing. Specifically designed for video analysis and object recognition, it is based on an advanced hardware architecture derived from the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module.
A high-performance ruggedised computer
ONYX AGX features a 2,048-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores, a 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE processor and two NVDLA v2 accelerators, providing a unified platform optimised for embedded AI processing. The 64 GB LPDDR5 ECC memory guarantees data integrity whilst ensuring high bandwidth, complemented by 64 GB eMMC storage for embedded applications.
ONYX AGX also offers extensive connectivity with interfaces suited to complex environments: ruggedised HDMI outputs, 10 Gb and Gigabit Ethernet, CAN bus, RS232/RS422 serial interfaces and USB, enabling direct integration into heterogeneous embedded architectures. Options such as HD-SDI video inputs and the addition of NVMe storage further enhance its adaptability.
Its mechanical design is based on a compact and robust IP67-rated chassis, fitted with MIL-DTL-38999 connectors and featuring fanless passive cooling. The ONYX-AGX computer is qualified to DO-160 and MIL-STD-810/461 standards and supports an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +55°C.

The inclusion of ECC memory enhances processing reliability, a key factor in environments where data integrity is critical.
