ECRIN Systems announces the launch of the nanoONYX-CAN, a ruggedised embedded controller designed to meet the requirements of systems incorporating CAN buses in challenging environments.
Part of the nanoONYX range, this ultra-compact, fanless system is specifically tailored for embedded applications in vehicles, drones and autonomous platforms. It ensures reliable, real-time communication between sensors, actuators and embedded control units (ECUs) within distributed architectures.
The nanoONYX-CAN incorporates up to 8 CAN interfaces, offering multi-bus management capabilities essential for complex systems. Based on Intel® Atom™ or Intel® Core™ processors, it combines computing performance with controlled power consumption, whilst enabling the execution of critical embedded applications.
Designed for harsh environments, it is qualified to DO-160, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards, guaranteeing resistance to vibration, shock and extreme conditions. Its fanless design enhances its reliability in confined and constrained embedded environments.
Thanks to its modular architecture and expandability, the nanoONYX-CAN integrates easily into embedded systems requiring specific interfaces, whilst ensuring long-term sustainability and lifecycle management.
