VNX+ Carrier with 2 QMC Sites

The TVNX210 is a VITA 90–compatible 19 mm VNX+ Plug-In Module (PIM) designed to provide system integrators with the flexibility and modularity required to build high-performance I/O subsystems for defense and aerospace platforms.

The VNX+ QMC carrier provides two independent single-width QMC sites that can accommodate either two single-width QMC modules or one double-width QMC module. The QMC sites are interconnected through a non-blocking PCIe Gen3 switch that distributes the VNX+ backplane x8 PCIe link from the expansion plane, or two x4 PCIe links from the data planes.

The full QMC I/O from both sites is routed to the VNX+ backplane through the 400-pin High-Speed Data Connector (HSDC), in compliance with the VITA 90.1 Dual QMC Carrier slot profile (VNX.PL-1-02.400-7.2.1.3).

A Management Controller implemented in accordance with VITA 46.11 enables QMC health monitoring and communication with the VNX+ system management.
